The 30th Annual Ronald H. Brown Leadership Awards Gala, held on March 20, 2026, at the Westin Hotel in Pittsburgh, marked a milestone evening for the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh. Centered around the theme “Unfinished Work. Unstoppable Will.”, the gala brought together community leaders, supporters, partners, and changemakers to celebrate leadership, service, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and opportunity.
The evening honored four distinguished leaders whose work reflects the mission and legacy of the Urban League: Evan Frazier, Sala Udin, Justice Cynthia A. Baldwin, and Kahlil G. Darden Jr. Through powerful tributes, dinner, music, fellowship, and celebration, the event recognized individuals who have advanced economic empowerment, civic engagement, civil rights, youth development, and community progress across the Pittsburgh region and beyond.
The gala also served as a reminder that the work of building a more equitable future continues. With support from sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, the Urban League reaffirmed its commitment to helping African Americans and underserved communities secure economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights.
